Druid House
Druid House Transitional Housing for families in-crisis with children. Druid House offers completly furnished 4, 3 and 2 bedroom housing to homeless families with children. Parents recieve comprehensive case management services to assist them with overcoming various barriers to stable, independent living. Accomondations and services are provided for up to two years.
Druid Heights Community Development Corporation (DHCDC) provides a variety of community revitalization and development programs and services such as:
- Employment referral
- Property management
- Tenant training
- Homeownership counseling
- Transitional housing
- Housing renovation and construction
- Senior Ride – free transportation for senior citizens residing within the Druid Heights community.
- Community Peace Patrol – An all volunteer weekly community safety patrol
Cultural Exchange Summer Fun Camp – Operating since 1991, the Cultural Exchange Program provides a fun-filled environment for harmonious social interaction through open discussion and behavior modification techniques, while allowing individuals the opportunity to comfortably communicate racial fears and concerns, as well as to explore ethnic differences, likenesses, myths, mores, stereotyping and cultures.

Druid Heights CDC Offers a combined total of more than forty years of experience in the field of housing development, project management, property management, housing construction, housing renovation, financial packaging, housing counseling, community organizing and human resource management. The organization has a “let’s get it done” attitude and we’ve been around since 1974, doing just that.
